The Betek Leban patterns took its inspiration from the basket of Boi Henwu, also a weaver and a significant character in the legend of Lake Sebu. Baskets has been a significant tool among the T'Boli women since it serves as bank of important mediums in weaving such as knife, bees wax, abaca, and even betel nut box.
